To the man who left me …

Thank you for not embracing my flaws it taught me to accept and love myself completely.Thank you for always tearing me down it helped make me into the strong confident woman that I am today. Thank you for never appreciating me for my individuality and spirit, because it taught me how important it is to stay true to oneself. Thank you for leaving me, it allowed me to find myself again. Thank you for attempting to dim my light so I could learn that I needed to burn as bright as I could. Thank you for being scared of my intelligence and the depths of my mind, because it taught me there is a difference in loving how I look, or how I make you feel versus loving who I really am. Thank you for not being the man that I needed, so that instead I was able to see the woman I already am. Thank you for never having the balls to stake a claim on my heart, because it left the space and opportunity for someone who will be brave enough to take a chance; someone who will cultivate every trait you tried to suppress. Thank you for being all wrong, because it showed me what right will look like—and for that I will always be eternally grateful

I thought I knew what love was and then you came along and fucked it all up. You still make my knees weak when I look at you. My tummy gets butterflies when you kiss me. You make my dopamine production go into overload when you are near me. But those are just physical symptoms of my love. Emotionally I know I love you because I only want you to be happy regardless of how it affects me. Of course I’d rather have you happy with me than without me but your happiness means more to me than my own. My soul feels so calm around your soul. I long for you but at the same time need my personal space and when you let me have it I come back loving you more every time. I want you to have your own life; I don’t need to be by your side at every moment because you share your life with me. You may not understand me completely because I am a very complex woman to love but you sure fucking try. I respect you and trust you with every ounce of my heart. I have never felt I had a person. But you are my person. I feelings I have are so strong nothing I can say or do will express my love for you. I know what love is because of you. I feel selfless, free, alive, content, happy and complete with you by my side. You make me want to be a better woman than the one I was the day before.

I crave love but I am a wanderer; my heart never

5 Stories You Missed While Senselessly Blaming Islam for Orlando Shooting

Alone gunman, who happened to be a Muslim, mindlessly gunned down over 100 people at an Orlando gay nightclub on June 12, before being killed by police. The tragedy sparked fierce public debate about gun control, ban on Muslims, anti-gay bigotry, political witch-hunts, and the threat of “radical Islam”.

However, almost everyone conveniently forgot to acknowledge four important facts: 1. An American Muslim carried out the deadliest mass shooting in American history to “stop America from bombing Syria”; 2. The bouncer, an ex-American Marine who saved 70 lives during the Orlando shooting, was also an American Muslim; 3. The right-wing Christian lobby has introduced 200 anti-LGBT bills in the last six months — Islam can’t be blamed for anti-gay bigotry in America; and 4. Nearly all of the leading Republican presidential candidates rejected American President Barack Obama’s tearful plea for gun control in January.

In the midst of the mayhem, when you were busy blaming Islam and ISIS for homegrown terrorism in America, these five important things happened in the land of the free and the countries it supports — which equally deserve your indignation:

1. Nationwide Vote Rigging In Democratic National Committee (DNC) Primaries

The Institute for American Democracy and Election Integrity is in the process of filing a major lawsuit; implications of which could dramatically alter the landscape of the 2016 U.S. presidential race. According to the lawsuit, results of Democratic primaries in several states far exceed the 2% margin between the exit polls and the electronic vote totals. These differences, claims the group, show votes appearing to be shifted from Bernie Sanders to Hillary Clinton — an indicator of election fraud.

Cliff Arnebeck, an election attorney who chairs the Legal Affairs Committee of Common Cause Ohio and national co-chair for the Alliance of Democracy, told The Free Thought Project:

“There is no way the Democratic Convention is going to nominate somebody on the basis of obviously stolen votes…the facts are coming out and that’s a fact…We are suing the media as being complicit in the crime. They are acting as accessories after the fact. They are covering up evidence of criminal activity, it’s a crime.

“In my opinion Hillary Clinton has been used for the purpose of scuttling Bernie Sanders campaign for president, she is being used…but they’ve been caught, it’s obvious, it’s just like Bernie Sanders when he talks about the system is rigged, ah the elections are rigged, the evidence is clear, everybody’s gonna see it and the game is over…Bernie has won in fact…”

2. Israel Waging Water War On Palestinians — During The Holy Month Of Ramadan

Israel, America’s closest ally, has shut off water supply to large parts of the occupied West Bank, leaving tens of thousands of Palestinians without access to safe drinking water during the Islamic holy month of Ramadan, a period of fasting. This comes at a time when daily temperatures soar to an average 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit. According to UN guidelines, 7.5 liters per person per day is the minimum requirement under normal conditions, but Israel’s restrictions have left many Palestinians with as little as two or three liters a day.

In a statement, the office of Palestinian Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah said:

“Israel wants to prevent Palestinians from leading a dignified life and uses its control over our water resources to this end; while illegal Israeli settlements enjoy uninterrupted water service, Palestinians are forced to spend great sums of money to buy water that is theirs in the first place.”

Richard Silverstein, a journalist and political commentator, told PressTV:

“This is just really done on a whim and it is done out of spite. You mentioned that it is Ramadan and of course this is a symbolic act by Israel, it is sticking its thumb into the eye of Palestinians and unfortunately this is what the definition of occupation is.”

3. Mass Banker ‘Suicides’ Were Likely a Vast Criminal Conspiracy

Three high-profile bankers – all with ties to Deutsche Bank – in New York, London and Siena, Italy, died within 17 months of each other in 2013-14, in what authorities deemed a series of unrelated suicides. But The New York Post now admits that while at least 40 bankers killed themselves in the 17-month period starting March 2013, suicides of David Rossi, William Broeksmit, and Calogero Gambino stood out as suspicious as their deaths seems to be linked to the interest rate-rigging Libor scandal. This scandal happened to rock the financial world, costing a consortium of international banks, including Deutsche Bank, about $20 billion in fines.

The Free Thought Project observes:

The common thread in each of these deaths is that all of the dead bankers had intimate knowledge of the international Libor scandal as it was related to Deutsche Bank. It seems apparent that these men were killed to ensure their silence, thus allowing those responsible for the interest rigging scandal within Deutsche to avoid responsibility.

4. Genetically-Modified Golden Rice — THE Answer To World Hunger — Is Turning Out To Be A Dud

A new study from Washington University has found that despite dumping millions into Golden Rice — once touted as a genetically modified (GMO) crop with the potential to save millions of lives in the Third World — the ‘nutritional gold mine’ has fallen short on lifesaving promises, even after 24 years of research and breeding. Noting that GMO opponents have not been the problem, study lead author Glenn Stone and professor of anthropology and environmental studies in Arts & Sciences, remarked:

“The rice simply has not been successful in test plots of the rice breeding institutes in the Philippines, where the leading research is being done. It has not even been submitted for approval to the regulatory agency, the Philippine Bureau of Plant Industry.

“It is still unknown if the beta carotene in Golden Rice can even be converted to Vitamin A in the bodies of badly undernourished children. There also has been little research on how well the beta carotene in Golden Rice will hold up when stored for long periods between harvest seasons or when cooked using traditional methods common in remote rural locations.”

5. Serial Rapists Have Tacitly Been Granted Permission To Continue Committing Brutal Assaults

In a new study, an Ohio task force tested nearly 5,000 backlogged rape kits from as far back as 1993. They found that more than half of serial rapists were tied to serial offenders; that an overwhelming majority of serial rapists had a history of felonies; and that a sexual offender had either previously sexually assaulted, or will offend again in the future.

According to the Department of Justice, there are currently over 400,000 untested rape kits collecting dust in police evidence rooms across America. As a result of this horrific negligence, only roughly 3% of rape cases in the country are actually solved. The Free Thought Project explains why the cops have not cared to know or done anything to stop the serial rapist epidemic:

Civil asset forfeiture pays. Busting low-level drug dealers by the dozen and confiscating their drugs, guns, cars, houses, and money pays. Writing tickets for victimless crime pays. Pulling you over for window tint, seat belts, arbitrary traveling speeds, and expired license plates; these are the things that pay, not solving crimes.

Dear Mr. President

Mr. President

With only a few months left as President of the United States there are a few items I employ you to take executive action on. First, would be the state of our environment, we are continuing to destroy our planet with our greed and growth. We are loosing precious forests, polluting our air, and destroying the ocean. Our earths wildlife population is dwindling as habits become destroyed and poaching is still present. We need to stay clear of fossil fuels and invest in solar and wind energy as well as electric. An order imposing a carbon tax on the animal agriculture would help offset the cost of transferring over to sustainable energy practices. In addition we need to start conserving our lands and stop ruining our rainforests and other precious habitats. We must respect sentient beings with whom we share this world with. A law prohibiting the killing of any trophy animal or transportation of such animal should be illegal. No one needs a rhino horn except for a rhino and there is no reason a bear or lion head should be hung on any mantel. Secondly, the health of American citizens is of great concern. Heart disease and cancer are the two leading causes of death in America, both of which are easily preventable when introduced to a healthy diet. Why is there no education based courses in nutrition for our doctors? Doctors should have an extensive educational background, so we stop injecting every American with pharmaceutical drugs. About 70% of Americans take at least 1 prescription drug. Thirdly, I request an executive order to label all GMO products and to have a more strict FDA regulations on animal by products and chemicals added into processed foods. Food companies are slowly killing American citizens. GMOs have been linked to causing tumors and red meat has been linked to cause cancer. How are both of these still not closely monitored by our government? And if they are, why is our government turning a blind eye only to profit and kill innocent people? As for cancer there have been multiple studies that show marijuana assists with the symptoms and sometimes cures patients cancer. How Mr. President is marijuana not legal and recognized for its health properties by the government. I demand GMO labeling becomes mandatory as well as an stricter laws regarding the animal agriculture industry. Marijuana should also be legalized and recognized for its health properties. Lastly, I would like to address this war on terrorism. As president, it is your duty to unify and bring together people. America is a mixing pot, people with all different backgrounds and lifestyles. Peace cannot be brought on by war, but by compassion and empathy. You must have compassion for your enemies and empathize with them in order for peace to prevail. The example that has been set for society is a negative one. You had the power for 8 years to make a change to bring humanity, compassion, and cohesiveness to our society but you failed on many of these attempts. Stop the war. Stop the fighting. Protect us but don’t continue to separate families from one another and dumping billions of dollars on a religious war fueled by the need for oil and power. You have a few months left to make an impact. Be the difference.

Respectfully.

K M Cooper

Awareness

Animals are not here for our entertainment or to be our slaves. Animals of all kinds should be able to live a life free of confinement. Do not support Zoo’s, Sea World, Circuses or any other company or activity that enprisons animals for profit and entertainment. Animals in captivity suffer major mental health and physical health issues. This elephant lost her life for the cost of a five dollars. Her life is worth much more than that. What’s the value of your freedom?

Earth Day

Earth breathes don’t pollute her. Earth grows don’t cut her down. Earth feels be kind to her. Earth is giving don’t take from her. Earth is fragile take care of her. Earth is ALIVE nurture her.

Why does humanity have so much greed? Why do they need so much? They take and use every resource until there is nothing left. Why don’t they see their greed is destroying our world? Humans are parasites on this planet called earth. Destroying her beauty and raping her flesh. STOP. The material items and the products you buy that kill sentient beings and the earth do not cause you happiness. They are an illusion. I wish we used the cognitive abilities we have been blessed with in a proactive way. This world could be better if we valued compassion, awareness, selflessness and acceptance. The root of true happiness is the sense of self worth “I”; yourself and what you contribute to the world around you. EARTH. Mother I recognize you, my energy feels your energy. Nameste Mother Earth happy day to you.

I am not easy to love

Author: Alex Myles

I know that I am a lot for some. I’m a restless force of unusual love and my beating heart rips through my veins.
I am also aware that my heart causes havoc; it shoots rainbow colored threads that tangle and knot in mischievously messy ways.

I’m not easy to love, apparently.
I remember it well, you said, it was because I feel “much too much.”
And sometimes, I guess, people can’t cope with “feeling” people. They don’t understand those who love skin, bone, and soul deep.
I get it, sort of.
But, please don’t tell others they are much “too much” and please, please don’t say it in a way that will make them feel as though they are wrong for owning a heart that bleeds.
I can take your harsh condemnations. I have gotten somewhat used to it.
However, once there was a time when comments like yours made me wrap up my too muchness so that I could hide it far from the rest of the world. I became afraid to tell people who mattered how I felt. I scared them by unleashing love.
But now I understand, some people want smaller, gentler, whispers of love. Not everyone loves like I do.
So, although your bite didn’t sting too much, there are others out there who will take your words and they will believe them to be true. They will desensitize themselves and shrink-wrap their comet-like heart to try to please you and believe me they will suffocate in their denial of love.
It isn’t wrong to expose raw vulnerabilities.
It’s not shameful to love hearts without limit and to accept and embrace them in an instant.
It doesn’t make a person weak or damaged or crazy, it’s courageous and brave to love this way.
It isn’t desperate when someone shows their cards and plays it straight instead of trying to gain advantage with tricks and mind games.
Nor does it mean they are a loose cannon frantically bolstering towards an altar in an attempt to commit to you for life.
Quite the opposite in fact.
This chaotic kind of love will never attempt to bind or tie.
For this type of love, that you possibly have never known, is as graceful as a river, although, it is free so it can also be fierce and fearless too.
At times there are harmless but breathtaking wild storms raging within it. The tornadoes and rain will flood riverbanks and cause the water to taste unknown land.
Just because you don’t feel equipped to hold that much love in your hands, if it appears again, try not to just dismiss it, lose yourself in it temporarily and adventure out and explore.
Those infinitely loving people with hearts that you think are too big, you see, they belong to nothing and no one. There is no need to be afraid. They ask for nothing and will offer you everything.
My Dear “almost love,” please understand, hearts that love without reason will never contain themselves. Nor will they try. They ache too much more when they are kept all locked safe on the inside. They will eventually crack and crumble and their love will eventually somehow spill out.
So, whatever you do, please don’t lock up hearts just because you don’t love to love in a “too much” kind of way. Throw away your heart-locking key.

If you don’t want an extraordinary, breathless, unforgettable love, then that’s okay; you can look, walk or run far away. Instead find someone who already layers their ribcage with indestructible bulletproof shields.
Maybe you will say they are not enough, or they might love the right amount, or you may even tell them they are still too much.
Or maybe, if it isn’t love, they will be “too much” something else.
You found my love undesirable and for a million or more reasons, I found you desirable. However, I desire to love this way so much more than the desires I had for you.
I have spent way too much of my lifetime tragically covering and masking my “too much” heart so that other people didn’t notice or feel the strength of my love.
Not any more.
I’m not sorry that I loved your petrified heart far “too much.”
I have not one regret.
I love everyone I meet that way. I just don’t know how else I’m supposed to love.
My heart spoke a language that you just couldn’t, and wouldn’t try, to understand.
Although, occasionally, in the midst of a star lit night, I wonder…
When you said you couldn’t love me…
Was it really that you thought that I felt “too much”?
Or was it simply because you didn’t feel enough?
Either way, whenever my heart is full to the brim with all this love, I smile to myself and think: “What a beautiful existence and what a way to be remembered, as the girl who was cast aside and unloved by you, when all she offered you was “too much” love.
We didn’t quite, but very nearly loved, each other.
